• Don McElhanon: Chaplain (Captain) Don McElhanon served honorably and with dedication in the Georgia Brigade, 2nd Division, of the United States Corps of Chaplains from November 13, 2004 until his death on June 20, 2009.
     
  • Jake Willard Harmon: Born December 1, 1946. He was an ordained Christian minister. He joined the United States Corps of Chaplains on March 2, 2004, the day the USCOC was founded. Jake Harmon was appointed a Chaplain and served in the grade of Major General as Commander, Second Division. Chaplain Harmon served with distinction in that position until the day of his death, October 5, 2009.
     
  • Carol Diane Warner: Born April 4, 1953. She joined the United States Corps of Chaplains on 1 February 2006, advanced to the rank of First Lieutenant and was serving as Executive Officer of the Arkansas Brigade, Fourth Division, at the time of her death on 1 May 2009.
     
  • Frederick Michael Hood: Born April 26, 1952. Served three years in the United States Navy and two years in the United States Navy Reserves. He was an ordained Christian minister. He joined the United States Corps of Chaplains on 13 November 2008, being appointed to serve in the grade of Sergeant as Medical NCO, California Brigade, Fifth Division and completing his probationary period on the day of his death, 13 February 2009. In honor of his service and ministry, he was promoted posthumously to the rank of Second Lieutenant and appointed a Chaplain in the United States Corps of Chaplains.
     
  • Raymond Clifton Porter: Born November 17, 1938, served three and one half years in the United States Air Force and nine years in the United States Army. He served one tour of duty in Vietnam. He was also a minister for more than 35 years, having been ordained on 21 April 1973. He joined the United States Corps of Chaplains on 28 August 2005 and on 16 February 2008 was promoted to Colonel and served as the 4th Division Commander until his death on 3 September 2008. In honor of his service and ministry, he was promoted posthumously to the rank of Major General in the United States Corps of Chaplains.
     
  • Wilson Hood Ollis, Sr.: He served 1940 - 1945 in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Air Corps with three more years in the Reserves. He was also a minister for more than 40 years. As a member of the United States Corps of Chaplains, he was appointed a Chaplain, rank of Colonel, and served as the Georgia Brigade Executive Officer until his death on 11 March 2007. He was buried 14 March 2007 in Forest Hills Memorial Garden, Forest Park, Georgia.
     
  • Cynthia Gail Ruby: She served as the Medical Officer, rank of Major, South Dakota Brigade, United States Corps of Chaplains. She died 2 December 2006.
     
  • Herbert Hudson Highfield: Born 25 June 1938. He was veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served from 31 August 1958 through 31 August 1979. As a member of the United States Corps of Chaplains, he was appointed as a Chaplain, rank of Colonel, and served as the Georgia Brigade Executive Officer until his death on 29 July 2004. He was buried on 13 August 2004 in Arlington National Cemetary, Section 66, Site 3817.
